LOTF. "Beastie?" Perspective: Simon.

Dear Diary,
Today we got a sign from grown-ups-the beast. Sam and Eric sure described it as a beast. The thing is, the “beast, “ is actually an aviator that came down on a parachute and no one knows that. Sam and Eric were so terrified, they described it with sharp teeth and claws. They’re so little, their imagination blows right over them. Everyone had a different reaction. Some people wanted to hide diffidently and some people wanted to attack mutinously as if he had seen a leviathan. Ralph wants to make a plan and is embroiled in it. I believe there is not a beast. It would have gotten us by now, if it hasn’t, then there really mustn’t be a beast. I believe the beast could possibly be an aviator. A pilot that came down from an airplane. Let’s hope, it feels like we’re going to be on this island for forever-and it feels interminable.
